Perched on the eastern rim of the Kathmandu Valley, this immersive hike leads to the serene Namobuddha Monastery in time to witness the rhythmic morning or evening prayers with resident monks. Surrounded by sweeping Himalayan views and quiet forested trails, the journey continues downhill through traditional Tamang settlements to the peaceful countryside of Balthali Village, offering an authentic glimpse into rural life and timeless landscapes.

Where your payment goes for full day hikes (per hiker price breakdown):
* This is hike price breakdown for clients. Each guide is paid a total of Rs 6000 (Rs 4500 for hike day and Rs 1500 for safety check/trail walk). Each trainee guide is paid Rs 4000. There is one guide for every 6 or 7 hikers.There is one guide for every 6 or 7 hikers.
By popular demand, snacks include processed cheese balls, chips and sourpatches. While these are provided and included, you are welcome to bring your own snacks.
Payments are non-transferrable between people and across hikes as all costs will have incurred.
No shows will result in full payment in dues transferrable to next hike, and are non-refundable
