Langtang - | vonKathmandu Adventures

Slightly less popular than Everest and Annapurnas, Langtang region is a beautiful destination offering limited but mesmerizing trekking trails. Just north of Kathmandu (towards the China border), the region can easily be accessed by a half-day drive from the capital.

The main attraction is trekking to the gorgeous valley that takes you to the foot of the Langtang Lirung mountains (the peaks that dominate Kathmandu skies). The cluster of the holy lakes of Gosaikunda, Helambu and Tamang heritage trails are other enticing trekking options. You’ll experience rugged valleys, forest trails as well as mountain culture in the region. As for accommodation, you have basic tea houses all along the trails.
