Drive from Pokhara to Banthanti 2.5 to 3 hrs We drive on the blacktopped roads until Birethanti, where our permits are checked. From there, we continue our drive on off-road tracks to Banthanti, bypassing the steep uphill steps. |
Trek from Banthanti to Nangethanti 1.5 to 2 hrs | 4 kms Nangethanti, our camp for the night, is around one and a half hours hike away. |

Enjoy views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountains from here and follow the ridge to Mohare Daanda (boasting even better views) on some of the finest trails. |

Trek from Mohare to Banthanti II 6 to 8 hrs | 12.5 kms Watch the magical sunrise with colors of the sky changing and revealing the mountains in all its grandeur. Behind you are rolling hills. We walk down towards Poon Hill and Ghorepani, and then on undulating trails along the forests passing several waterfalls and stream, we reach Banthanti. |

Trek from Banthanti II to Ghandruk 3 to 3.5 hrs | 7 kms It’s a short walk today, which leaves us with more time to explore Ghandruk. The trails today are mostly downhill through rhododendron forests, all the way to Ghandruk – a large Gurung settlement. |
Explore Ghandruk Gurung is an ethnicity of Nepal, with their own culture, dialect and lifestyle. Treat yourself some lazy time over tea/lunch gazing at the mountains or explore the town and visit the Gurung museum if you wish to. |

Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara 30 mins In the morning, we take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to the gorgeous Pokhara city that sits by Phewa Lake and is dwarfed by the Annapurna range. |
Drive from Pokhara to Hile 2 to 3 hrs A drive from Pokhara takes us to Hile, from where we start the trek. (Note: If the flight gets delayed and we reach Pokhra later than 11:30 am, we drive directly to Ulleri. That way, we will make it to Banthanti before dark.) |
Trek from Hile to Banthanti 3 to 4 hrs We walk along the banks of the Modi River, passing several quaint villages, and after a steep uphill, we reach Ulleri. Banthanti, our camp for the night, is an hour further away. |

Hike to Poon Hill, and back 2 to 3 hrs Poon Hill is just one short but strenuous uphill away. Enjoy views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountains over sunset from here. |

The first half of the drive up to Besishahar is on the blacktopped highway while the second half is an off-road drive along the banks of the Marshyangdi river. Expect a number of waterfalls, gorgeous forests, mountain villages, and road bumps on the way. |

Quick morning hike to natural hot spring in Chame 1 hr A short stroll takes us to a natural hotspring. Immerse yourself in the tiny yet relaxing geothermal pool if you feel like as there are not many people in the mornings. |
Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang 6 to 7 hrs | 17.5 kms Today, we come across apple orchards, suspension bridges and mani walls as we hike through pine woods and pretty little villages with fluttering prayer flags. The soaring peaks along with the snow-capped Annapurna II keep us company. We stop for lunch at Dhukur Pokhari and head to the peaceful settlement of Upper Pisang. |

Trek from Upper Pisang to Manang 6 to 7 hrs | 19 kms A pleasant six hours on the trails takes us to the glorious town of Manang today. This charming little town also houses bakeries, souvenir shops, and serviced lodges with hot showers. |

Trek from Manang to Ice Lake to Manang 7 to 8 hrs | 15 kms At an elevation of 3500 meters, Manang is our perfect acclimatization spot. You can opt for one of the short yet remarkable side trips (2-4 hrs) like Gangapurna lake, a monastery above Manang, Milarepa cave, or Ice lake (6-7 hrs) if you’re feeling adventurous. |

Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka 4 to 5 hrs | 10 kms Leaving the treeline behind, we trek to Yak Kharka. The hike is slow-paced and gradual through the high pastures. These trails give us an exceptional opportunity to sight Himalayan Tahr, blue sheep, and several exotic birds. |

Yak Kharka - Thorung Phedi |
Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorung Phedi 4 to 5 hrs | 7 kms From Yak Kharka, we walk up to a ridge and head down to cross the Marshyangdi river. After a steep climb and narrow downhill trails, we reach Thorung Phedi. This rugged place, surrounded by high rocky cliffs, is our camp for the night. |

Thorung Phedi - Thorung La Pass - Muktinath |
Trek from Thorung Phedi to Muktinath via Thorung La Pass 8 to 10 hrs | 15 kms The most challenging yet monumental day is here! We start off early and keep climbing with all the will and muscle power to Thorung La pass, one of the highest passes in the world at 5,416m/17,756ft. Find yourself surrounded by otherworldly views of the majestic Himalayas with the Annapurnas behind you. After rewarding ourselves with some photo opportunities and snacks, we start descending to Muktinath. The trail, from here onwards, is all downhill. |

Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (via Lubra) 5 to 6 hrs | 18.5 kms Muktinath is an interesting sacred mountain town in the rainshadow area that houses the eternal flame. After a walk to the temple in the morning, we head down to Jomsom via Lubra, passing the arid landscapes and gorgeous meadowy patches. The airport town of Jomsom is our home for the night. We celebrate the end of the trip with some apple brandy ;) |

Drive from Kathmandu to Chame 8 to 9 hrs We embark on a long, adventurous, and scenic road trip on winding Himalayan roads to reach Chame today. The first half of the drive up to Besishahar is on the blacktopped highway while the second half is an off-road drive along the banks of the Marshyangdi river. Expect a number of waterfalls, gorgeous forests, mountain villages, and road bumps on the way. |

Quick morning hike to natural hot spring in Chame 1 hr A short stroll takes us to a natural hotspring. Immerse yourself in the tiny yet relaxing geothermal pool if you feel like as there are not many people in the mornings. |
Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang 6 to 7 hrs | 17.5 kms Today, we come across apple orchards, suspension bridges and mani walls as we hike through pine woods and pretty little villages with fluttering prayer flags. The soaring peaks along with the snow-capped Annapurna II keep us company. We stop for lunch at Dhukur Pokhari and head to the peaceful settlement of Upper Pisang. |

We start off early and keep climbing with all the will and muscle power to Thorung La pass, one of the highest passes in the world at 5,416m/17,756ft. Find yourself surrounded by otherworldly views of the majestic Himalayas with the Annapurnas behind you. After rewarding ourselves with some photo opportunities and snacks, we start descending to Muktinath. The trail, from here onwards, is all downhill. |
