Overview
Beginning with a steady climb from Gundu/Suryabinayak, the trail soon eases at the grassy rest point of Gyampe Danda before continuing through serene forest to the ridge of Ranikot, a surprisingly wild escape so close to the valley’s bustle. Cooler air and expanding views lead to sweeping panoramas of terraced farms, scattered villages and grazing cattle, and on clear days the distant Himalayas. After lunch at the viewpoint, descend through quiet countryside to Gundu, a rewarding journey for anyone drawn to wide vistas and pockets of wilderness.

Where your payment goes for full day hikes (per hiker price breakdown):
* This is hike price breakdown for clients. Each guide is paid a total of Rs 6000 (Rs 4500 for hike day and Rs 1500 for safety check/trail walk). Each trainee guide is paid Rs 4000. There is one guide for every 6 or 7 hikers.There is one guide for every 6 or 7 hikers.
By popular demand, snacks include processed cheese balls, chips and sourpatches. While these are provided and included, you are welcome to bring your own snacks.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- 100% refund by Thursday 10am
- 50% refund from Thursday 10am to Friday 5pm
- No refund after Friday 5pm
- No refund for no show on hike day
Payments are non-transferrable between people and across hikes as all costs will have incurred.
No shows will result in full payment in dues transferrable to next hike, and are non-refundable

2. Clear Payments
Deadline to pay: Friday 5pm (one day before hike). To confirm your spot, please clear all payments. For online app payments, please clearly mention names of all hikers you’re paying for (family members, friends, etc).
