Kathmandu - Pokhara - Banthanti I - Nangethanti |
Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara 25 mins In the morning, we take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to the gorgeous Pokhara city that sits by Phewa Lake and is dwarfed by the Annapurna range. |
Drive from Pokhara to Banthanti I 2 to 3 hrs We drive on the blacktopped roads until Birethanti, where our permits are checked. From there, we continue our drive on off-road tracks to Banthanti, bypassing the steep uphill steps. |
Trek from Banthanti I to Nangethanti 1.5 to 2 hrs | 4 kms Nangethanti, our camp for the night, is around one and a half hours hike away. |

Day 2 |
Nangethanti - Mohare Daanda |
Trek from Nangethanti to Mohare, via Ghorepani and Poon Hill 5 to 6 hrs | 8 kms Today is mostly gradual uphill through lovely, peaceful forests. Before we know it, we reach Ghorepani to have our lunch. Poon Hill is just one short but strenuous uphill away. Enjoy views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountains from here and follow the ridge to Mohare Daanda (boasting even better views) on some of the finest trails. |

Day 3 |
Mohare - Banthanti II |
Trek from Mohare to Banthanti II 6 to 8 hrs | 12.5 kms Watch the magical sunrise with colors of the sky changing and revealing the mountains in all its grandeur. Behind you are rolling hills. We walk down towards Poon Hill and Ghorepani, and then on undulating trails along the forests passing several waterfalls and stream, we reach Banthanti. |

Day 4 |
Banthanti II - Ghandruk |
Trek from Banthanti II to Ghandruk 3 to 3.5 hrs | 7 kms It’s a short walk today, which leaves us with more time to explore Ghandruk. The trails today are mostly downhill through rhododendron forests, all the way to Ghandruk – a large Gurung settlement. |
Explore Ghandruk Gurung is an ethnicity of Nepal, with their own culture, dialect and lifestyle. Treat yourself some lazy time over tea/lunch gazing at the mountains or explore the town and visit the Gurung museum if you wish to. |

Kathmandu - Singane |
Drive from Kathmandu to Singane 10 to 11 hrs Set off to Pattale on an eight-hour-long scenic drive along the winding hilly roads east of Kathmandu. You will witness tiny villages nestled in the hills as well as the modernizing highway cities on this journey that constantly follows a river. We make multiple stops on the way for lunch, tea, and restroom. Our stop for the night is Pattle, a tiny village that offers a range of mountains on the horizon. |
Trek from Singane to Jhapre 2 to 2.5 hrs | 6 kms We start walking after getting dropped off at Dhap, and the sights of the mountains stay with us throughout. Jhapre is another lovely place with views of rolling valleys and mountains that start appearing closer. |

Day 2 |
Jhapre - Pikey Peak Base Camp |
Trek from Jhapre to Pikey Peak Base Camp 5 to 6 hrs | 13.5 kms The walk takes us above the treeline today, and in a wide prairie-like landscape, the panorama starts getting more dramatic. As we gain more elevation, we get 360-degree view of the mountains on one side and layers of hills on the other. It can get quite windy so have a windcheater handy. We check into a hotel at Pikey Peak Base Camp and have some hot food. Although we'll be going to Pikey Peak the following morning for sunrise, you may choose to either take rest for the day today or make it up to Pikey Peak in late afternoon to watch the sunset over the mountains. |

Day 3 |
Pikey Peak Base Camp - Pikey Peak - Junbesi |
Trek from Pikey Peak Base Camp to Junbesi, via Pikey Peak 7 to 8 hrs | 16 kms We set off to Pikey Peak early morning before dawn to catch the changing colors and sunrise over Khumbu mountains. Besides Everest, you can see other giant mountain ranges like Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Manaslu and Annapurna. After photo ops and catching final glimpses from Pikey Peak, we walk down to Jasmane Bhanjyang where we have a hearty breakfast, then on to the gorgeous monastery town of Junbesi through lush jungle. |

Junbesi [Exploration to Thupten Choling Monastery] |
Explore Junbesi and hike to Thupten Choling 3 to 3.5 hrs | 7 kms Junbesi has a lot to offer. We explore this picturesque town of Junbesi and visit the biggest and oldest monastery of Solu- Thupten Choling. We spend some time in peace and make our way back to Junbesi for lunch. |

Drive from Kathmandu to Manthali Airport 3.5 to 4.5 hrs An early morning drive from Kathmandu on winding roads takes us to Manthali, a tiny little town in Ramechhap district. Manthali Airport has been the gateway to Lukla since 2019. We start around 2 or 3 am in the morning following the Sunkoshi and Tamakoshi rivers, and reach Manthali right on time to catch the 6:30 or 7 am flight to Lukla. Note: All the flights to Lukla operate from Manthali Airport, Ramechhap during the months of March, April, May, October, November and December. |
Fly from Manthali to Lukla 20 mins A short, scenic and exhilarating mountain flight takes us from Manthali to Lukla, the gateway of Everest Region. |
Trek from Lukla to Monjo 5 to 6 hrs | 12 kms We meet the rest of our crew, arrange our baggages, have breakfast, and embark on a journey to Monjo, passing exciting suspension bridges and tiny village settlements following the Koshi river. |

Trek from Monjo to Namche 4 to 6 hrs | 6 kms We walk northward along the banks of Koshi and reach the entry point of Sagarmatha National Park, from where the gruelling uphill awaits before we reach the amphitheater town of Namche, nestled perfectly atop a hill. Spend the rest of the day exploring monasteries, mountain museums, tiny cafes and coffee bars. |

Namche - Khumjung |
Trek from Namche to Khumjung (Acclimatization) 4 to 5 hrs | 7 kms We take it slow and easy to the peaceful and serene settlement of Khumjung today. We stop by Hotel Everest View for a stunning view of the Everest mountain chain on the way. The green-roofed valley of Khumjung and Khunde offers several options to explore, including a monastery housing a (supposed) yeti scalp and a school established by Edmund Hillary. |

Day 4 |
Khumjung - Tengboche |
Trek from Khumjung to Tengboche 4 to 5 hrs | 6.5 kms The walk on the first bit is a mix of minor uphills, downhills and flats with views of the picturesque Ama Dablam, followed by an arduous uphill to Tengboche. Don't miss out on the evening chants with monks in the largest, most impressive monastery in Khumbu. The aura of the town is magical, to say the least. The golden sunset over Everest and other Khumbu mountains will melt your heart away. |

Tengboche - Namche |

Namche - Lukla |
Trek from Namche to Lukla 6 to 7 hrs | 18 kms The final trekking day is also a long one. We leave Namche and take the same route back to Lukla. The team will gather to share laughs and maybe raise a glass or two before flying out of Lukla the next morning. We thank porters and assistant guide, and bid them farewell. |

Drive from Kathmandu to Khanjim 6 to 7 hrs Set off on a long scenic drive from Kathmandu chasing the Trishuli river on roads that change from smooth to bumpy to extremely bumpy as we near our destination. You will come across interesting villages, terraced fields, and scenic views of layered hills and mountains (on clear days). Bear with us as we keep up with the checkpoints on the way to the Khanjim (further ahead from Syafrubesi) |
Trek from Khanjim to Sherpagaon 2 to 3 hrs | 5 kms From the starting point, we start our short hike to Sherpagaon, a small settlement above Syabrubesi, known for its tranquil environment and unique Sherpa culture. |

Sherpagaon - Thangshep |
Trek from Sherpagaon to Thangshep 6 to 8 hrs | 12 kms Today, the trail passes through lush rhododendron forests, picturesque villages, and terraced fields, gradually ascending to Thangsep. The trails today change from rhododendron and pine forests to fairly tale pastures with yaks grazing after Ghodatabela. |

Thangshep - Kyangjin |
Trek from Thangshep to Kyanjin 6 to 7 hrs | 11 kms We start on similar trails as the last day and walk past the rocky landslide patch where the old Langtang village was before getting swept away in the 2015 earthquake. The new Lantang village, right in the shadow of Langtang Lirung, is just a little further with all the new and sturdy houses. Adorned with mani walls, some amazingly pleasant trails will take you to Kyanjin today. In 2-3 hours, you will reach Kyanjin, a little mountain settlement surrounded by gorgeous mountains. |
Explore Kyanjin You can visit the local cheese factory and walk to the charming Kyanjin monastery (Gompa). |

Kyanjin - Kyanjin Ri II - Langtang |
Hike to Kyanjin Ri I or II and back to Kyanjin 3 to 5 hrs | 4 kms In the morning, we head for an uphill hike to Kyanjin Ri for some spectacular panoramic views of the mountains and a glacial lake right on the foot of Langtang. Kyanjin Ri I and II are both equally good for panoramic views. |
Trek from Kyanjin to Thangshep 4 to 5 hrs | 11 kms After lunch, we take a scenic descent through the heart of the valley, offering a gradual transition from alpine landscapes back to more vegetated terrain and spend the night in Langtang village. |

Drive from Pokhara to Ghandruk 2 to 2.5 hrs We drive to Lakeside and take a lovely morning stroll by the Phewa lake. After breakfast, our vehicle drives us through the Pokhara-Baglung highway. We leave the highway from Nayapul and drive to Ghandruk – a large Gurung settlement. Expect some bumps on the roads. |

We start off early and keep climbing with all the will and muscle power to Thorung La pass, one of the highest passes in the world at 5,416m/17,756ft. Find yourself surrounded by otherworldly views of the majestic Himalayas with the Annapurnas behind you. After rewarding ourselves with some photo opportunities and snacks, we start descending to Muktinath. The trail, from here onwards, is all downhill. |

Drive from Kathmandu to Manthali Airport 4 to 4.5 hrs An early morning drive from Kathmandu on winding roads takes us to Manthali, a tiny little town in Ramechhap district. Manthali Airport has been the gateway to Lukla since 2019. We start around 2 or 3 am in the morning following the Sunkoshi and Tamakoshi rivers, and reach Manthali right on time to catch the 6:30 or 7 am flight to Lukla.Note: All the flights to Lukla operate from Manthali Airport, Ramechhap during the months of March, April, May, October, November and December. |

The green-roofed valley of Khumjung and Khunde offers several options to explore, including a monastery housing a (supposed) yeti scalp and a school established by Edmund Hillary. |

Trek from Khumjung to Pangboche 5 to 6 hrs | 11 kms The walk on the first bit is a combination of minor uphills, downhills and flats with views of the picturesque Ama Dablam mountain staying with us, followed by an arduous uphill to Tengboche. After exploring the biggest monastery of the region, we trudge on and stop at Pangboche village, with equally impressive sights. |

Trek from Pangboche to Dingboche 3 to 4 hrs | 6 kms We're greeted by the charismatic Ama Dablam in the morning. The trek to Dingboche today is only a few hours, but you will feel the altitude and notice a complete change in vegetation and landscape as we leave the tree line behind and walk the arid lands of Khumbu. We settle in a mountain lodge, our home for the following day. You can either choose to rest or take short hikes to nearby hills. |

Acclimatization hike to Nangkartsang and rest in Dingboche 3 to 4 hrs | 5 kms In the morning, we take an acclimatization hike to the Nangkartsang peak or a hilltop before it. We are rewarded with the alluring face of Ama Dablam and severeal other mountains from this gorgeous vantage point. We slowly head down for lunch, and have the rest of the day for leisure. |

Dingboche - Lobuche |
Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche 4 to 5 hrs | 8 kms After a gradual uphill, we walk the wide barren flats until the white-washed rocky terrains show up. Lobuche memorial sits right where our short but tough uphill ends. We take a break here to admire the grandeur of the Himalayas and pay respect to all who lost their lives in the mountains. In no time, you’ll find yourself walking on lateral moraines of Khumbu glacier before you reach Lobuche. |

Trek from Lobuche to Gorakhshep 2 to 3 hrs | 5 kms We set off to Gorakhshep (the last settlement) on rocky trails shared by yak caravans ferrying goods. Khumbu glacier stays right next to you with tiny turquoise water bodies. |
Hike to Everest Base Camp, and back to Gorakhshep 3 to 5 hrs | 6.5 kms We leave our bags in the hotel (our home for the night), have a quick lunch, and set about to the grand prize - Everest Base Camp. Setting foot on the icy terrain surrounded by mountains on all sides is an ineffable feeling. Relish the moment by taking pictures with the massifs of Khumbu mountains on the backdrop before heading back. |

Gorakhshep - Kalapatthar - Pheriche |
Morning hike to Kalapatthar view point and back to Gorakhshep 3 to 4 hrs | 3.5 kms A pre-dawn start to Kalapatthar as we set off on a grueling ascent to catch the first rays of golden light over Everest. Everest stands tall and enchanting with the other giants in the frame - Lhotse and Nuptse adjoining to the right and left from the viewpoint of Kalapatthar. Pumori perfects the frame with its imposing massif. |
Trek down to Pheriche 4 to 5 hrs | 11 kms There's a long day ahead of us. After descending and having breakfast in Gorakhshep, we make our way to Pheriche through the rocky terrains of Lobuche and Thukla. |

Trek from Pheriche to Namche 6 to 7 hrs | 17 kms We start early today to make it to Namche Bazaar before dark. The trails keep rolling up and down through valleys and villages you crossed on your way up. We stop in Tengboche for lunch and in Kyanjuma for a quick tea break. |

Namche - Lukla |
Trek from Namche to Lukla 6 to 8 hrs | 18 kms The final trekking day is also a long one. We leave Namche and take the same route back to Lukla. We start around 2 or 3 am in the morning following the Sunkoshi and Tamakoshi rivers, and reach Manthali right on time to catch the 6:30 or 7 am flight to Lukla.Note: All the flights to Lukla operate from Manthali Airport, Ramechhap during the months of March, April, May, October, November and December. |

Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo 3 to 4 hrs | 6.5 kms The trails from Machhermo are not too challenging, with only a few steep climbs. Along the way, we pass two beautiful turquoise Gokyo lakes before reaching the third one. While the first lake is small, the second one stretches quite a bit. Sunset hike to Gokyo Ri 3 to 4 hrs | 4 kms You have a full day to explore the stunning Gokyo valley and its surrounding lakes. Gokyo Ri, the highlight of the trip, is just a couple of hours' trek away. Both sunrise and sunset from Gokyo Ri offer spectacular golden skies stretching over the horizon. Depending on the weather and your preference, plan with your guide to choose the best time for the hike. |

Trek from Namche to Lukla 6 to 7 hrs | 18 kms The final trekking day is also a long one. We leave Namche and take the same route back to Lukla. Kathmandu - Manthali - Lukla - Monjo |
Drive from Kathmandu to Manthali Airport 3.5 to 4.5 hrs An early morning drive from Kathmandu on winding roads takes us to Manthali, a tiny little town in Ramechhap district. Manthali Airport has been the gateway to Lukla since 2019. We start around 2 or 3 am in the morning following the Sunkoshi and Tamakoshi rivers, and reach Manthali right on time to catch the 6:30 or 7 am flight to Lukla. Note: All the flights to Lukla operate from Manthali Airport, Ramechhap during the months of March, April, May, October, November and December. |
Fly from Manthali to Lukla 20 mins A short, scenic and exhilarating mountain flight takes us from Manthali to Lukla, the gateway of Everest Region. |
Trek from Lukla to Monjo 5 to 6 hrs | 12 kms We meet the rest of our crew, arrange our baggages, have breakfast, and embark on a journey to Monjo, passing exciting suspension bridges and tiny village settlements following the Koshi river. If the flight is delayed causing late hike start, we will call it a day in Phakding (1-2hrs before Monjo). |

Monjo - Namche |
Trek from Monjo to Namche 4 to 6 hrs | 6 kms We walk northward along the banks of Koshi and reach the entry point of Sagarmatha National Park, from where the gruelling uphill awaits before we reach the amphitheater town of Namche, nestled perfectly atop a hill. Spend the rest of the day exploring monasteries, mountain museums, tiny cafes and coffee bars. |

Namche - Khumjung |
Trek from Namche to Khumjung (Acclimatization) 4 to 5 hrs | 7 kms We take it slow and easy to the peaceful and serene settlement of Khumjung today. We stop by Hotel Everest View for a stunning view of the Everest mountain chain on the way. The green-roofed valley of Khumjung and Khunde offers several options to explore, including a monastery housing a (supposed) yeti scalp and a school established by Edmund Hillary. |

Khumjung - Pangboche |
Trek from Khumjung to Pangboche 5 to 6 hrs | 11 kms The walk on the first bit is a combination of minor uphills, downhills and flats with views of the picturesque Ama Dablam mountain staying with us, followed by an arduous uphill to Tengboche. After exploring the biggest monastery of the region, we trudge on and stop at Pangboche village, with equally impressive sights. |

Pangboche - Dingboche |
Trek from Pangboche to Dingboche 3 to 4 hrs | 6 kms We're greeted by the charismatic Ama Dablam in the morning. The trek to Dingboche today is only a few hours, but you will feel the altitude and notice a complete change in vegetation and landscape as we leave the tree line behind and walk the arid lands of Khumbu. We settle in a mountain lodge, our home for the following day. You can either choose to rest or take short hikes to nearby hills. |

Day 6 |
Dingboche Acclimatization |
Acclimatization hike to Nangkartsang and rest in Dingboche 3 to 4 hrs | 5 kms In the morning, we take an acclimatization hike to the Nangkartsang peak or a hilltop before it. We are rewarded with the alluring face of Ama Dablam and severeal other mountains from this gorgeous vantage point. We slowly head down for lunch, and have the rest of the day for leisure. |

Day 7 |
Dingboche - Lobuche |
Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche 4 to 5 hrs | 8 kms After a gradual uphill, we walk the wide barren flats until the white-washed rocky terrains show up. Lobuche memorial sits right where our short but tough uphill ends. We take a break here to admire the grandeur of the Himalayas and pay respect to all who lost their lives in the mountains. In no time, you’ll find yourself walking on lateral moraines of Khumbu glacier before you reach Lobuche. |
Acclimatization walk to glacier ridge 1 to 1.5 hrs | 1.5 kms We take a short walk up to the ridge with great view of the glacier and surrounding mountains. |

Lobuche - Gorakhshep - EBC - Gorakhshep |
Trek from Lobuche to Gorakhshep 2 to 3 hrs | 5 kms We set off to Gorakhshep (the last settlement) on rocky trails shared by yak caravans ferrying goods. Khumbu glacier stays right next to you with tiny turquoise water bodies. |
Hike to Everest Base Camp, and back to Gorakhshep 3 to 5 hrs | 6.5 kms We leave our bags in the hotel (our home for the night), have a quick lunch, and set about to the grand prize - Everest Base Camp. Setting foot on the icy terrain surrounded by mountains on all sides is an ineffable feeling. Relish the moment by taking pictures with the massifs of Khumbu mountains on the backdrop before heading back. |

Gorakshep - Kalapathhar - Dzongla |
Morning hike to Kalapatthar view point and back to Gorakhshep 3 to 4 hrs | 3.5 kms A pre-dawn start to Kalapatthar as we set off on a grueling ascent to catch the first rays of golden light over Everest. Everest stands tall and enchanting with the other giants in the frame - Lhotse and Nuptse adjoining to the right and left from the viewpoint of Kalapatthar. Pumori perfects the frame with its imposing massif. |
Trek to Dzongla 3 to 4 hrs | 10 kms We begin our descent on the same trails we came from. After walking for about half an hour down from Lobuche, we encounter an intersection and turn right towards Dzongla. The trails are relatively flat, and along the way, you will be captivated by a beautiful turquoise lake. |

Dzongla - Chola Pass - Thagnak |
Trek from Dzongla to Thagnak (via Chola Pass) 7 to 8 hrs | 8 kms The most adventurous part of the trek awaits us. We will start early in the morning with packed lunches to catch the sunrise along the way. Today's journey involves crossing icy terrains, loose rocks, and moving glaciers. Don’t worry, your guide will have microspikes/crampons for you. After a demanding 3-4 hours ascent, we will be greeted by Chola Pass, adorned with fluttering prayer flags. From this vantage point, you can enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains before we make our way down to Thagnak, a settlement with a few teahouses. |

Thagnak - Gokyo |
Trek from Thagnak to Gokyo 2 to 3 hrs | 7.5 kms Our route leads us to the enchanting Gokyo village, nestled next to Dudh Pokhari, one of the Gokyo lakes. The initial part of the trail involves crossing the Ngozumpa Glacier, the longest glacier in the Himalayas below Mt. Cho Oyu. You will traverse rivers and uneven rocky terrains over ice before the Gokyo lakes come into view. |
