Kanchenjunga Conservation Area (KCA), spanning 2,035 square kilometers in eastern Nepal, is a pristine wilderness dominated by the majestic Kanchenjunga massif—the world’s third highest mountain at 8,586 meters. This conservation area is home to some of Nepal’s most spectacular landscapes, rare wildlife, and vibrant indigenous cultures.

Managed by the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC), KCA serves as an important frontier for biodiversity conservation and sustainable community development in the eastern Himalayas.
